Pediatric Sedation Dentistry

Dental phobia is not only uncomfortable, but also discourages patients from receiving the routine oral care that they need to maintain their beautiful smile. You’ll find that our whole practice revolves around encouraging a healthy, happy relationship with your child, for life.

Taking Their Mind off of the Dentist

We understand that new places and experiences can make anyone a little nervous, especially children. From the moment your child enters our office, they’ll delve into a wonderland of fun and adventure. Meet our nearly life-size elephant who’s busy roasting marshmallows over the campfire, or cross the bridge that dangles over crocodiles, who are only too happy to show off their toothy grins.

Patients can relax in our dental chairs, with a comfy animal neck pillow to offer a little friendly support, and let their gaze wander to their favorite cartoon overhead, or to the tiger peeking through the ceiling.

Types of Sedation Available

Nitrous Oxide – By simply breathing through a soft nose-mask, your child will inhale a sedative gas to float into a relaxed state.

Oral Sedation – With a simple oral medication, patients feel serene and doses can be tailored to each child and their level of anxiety.

Sedation allows patients to enjoy a relaxed, positive dental visit, as well as tolerate more lengthy or extensive procedures in one appointment. If your child feels a little anxious, we’re happy to ease their concerns. Just let us know when you call to schedule their appointment.
